WHO WE ARE

What does ClosedWon Talent specialize in?
We exclusively place Sales and GTM talent at SaaS startups — Account Executives, VP Sales, SDRs, CSMs, Sales Engineers, and GTM leadership. Sales and GTM is all we do. We do not place engineering, finance, or operations roles.
What stage startups do you work with?
We work exclusively with SaaS startups at the Seed to Series C stage. This is where we have the deepest expertise and the strongest candidate network.
How are you different from a generalist recruiting agency?
Our founder spent a decade as a sales rep and leader before ever recruiting. We know what great looks like because we have been in the seat. We also work exclusively with early-stage SaaS startups — so we understand the profiles that succeed in zero-to-one environments, not just what looks good on a resume.
Who leads my search?
Jay Green leads all client relationships and is involved in every search. Depending on the role, your search may be led day-to-day by Jay, Jake Citrano (co-founder), or Kaylie Martin (lead recruiter). Every person on the team has run hundreds of sales searches. You will never be handed off to a junior associate.

HOW WE WORK

How long does a typical search take?
We typically submit our first three to four candidates within one week of kickoff. From there, the timeline depends on how closely those initial candidates match what you are looking for and how quickly you move through interviews. Most searches result in a hire within four to six weeks. The faster you can get through your first couple of screens and tell us what is resonating, the faster we can refine and close.
How do you find candidates who aren't applying inbound?
Every search starts with market mapping — building a targeted list based on stage experience, industry, deal type, and track record. We reach out directly with a personalized message, and we leverage years of relationships with candidates we have already placed who trust us enough to respond. Our LinkedIn presence also plays a meaningful role — our founders have generated 3M+ views on LinkedIn content in the last 12 months, so when a candidate hears from us and looks us up, what they find makes us look credible enough to take the conversation.
What does the process look like start to finish?
We follow The ClosedWon Method — four steps: Align (define what great looks like for your role), Attract (map the market and run targeted outbound), Assess (screen with structured interviews and reference checks), Advise (guide you through offer, negotiation, and onboarding).

PRICING & MODELS

How does your contingency model work?
You pay nothing until you make a hire. Our fee is a percentage of the hired candidate's first-year base salary, invoiced at the time of hire. No upfront cost, no obligation if the search does not result in a placement. Every placement also comes with a 90-day guarantee — if the hire doesn't work out within the first 90 days, we will run the search again at no additional cost.
What is ClosedWon Scale?
ClosedWon Scale is our retainer model for companies with ongoing hiring needs. Scale clients pay a monthly retainer plus a significantly lower per-hire fee and we function as an embedded recruiting partner. Best for companies planning three or more hires in a three to six month window.
Do you work on retained searches?
Yes, for senior roles and high-volume engagements. A retained search means we work exclusively on your role with dedicated focus. Typically the right model for VP Sales, CRO, and other senior GTM leadership roles.

Do you work with international startups?
Yes. We have a dedicated focus for international SaaS startups expanding to the US. We have placed first US hires for startups from Israel, Australia, and across Europe. We also have a trusted partner network to help navigate US HR, benefits, and employment law.
